Audiation Assistant

Audiation Assistant is a software program designed to facilitate the drill and practice of tonal and rhythm patterns. Based on the the music learning theory of Edwin E. Gordon, Audiation Assistant enables the user to practice numerous tonal and rhythm patterns in a variety of tonalities and meters. The difficulty level is easily customizable according to the experience and skill of the user.

Tune Assistant is designed to assist in the implementation of the Whole part of the Whole-Part-Whole music teaching curriculum by facilitating the study of real music literature, that is, tunes. Audiation Assistant addresses the Part part by helping the learner audiate--hear and comprehend in "the mind's ear"--the most basic tonal and rhythm components of music literature, namely, tonal patterns and rhythm patterns.
